Manchester Carers Network is a network of 18 organisations that support unpaid carers in Manchester. Manchester Carers Centre are part of the network and deliver a range of high quality, free support service to both adult carers and Young adult carers.
We know that during the pandemic carers have had to face incredibly challenging circumstances. As most carers will have been shielding, routine things like accessing GPs, Pharmacies and local shops have been thrown into question. A lot of carers will have had a difficult time finding out the right advice and guidance for them, and all will have had to think about the new risks in day to day life.
At the Manchester Cares network, our goal is to provide support that makes a difference. But in times like these, in a world that is changing week by week, we need to hear from you, so we can know what support matters most right now.
We want to give you the platform to speak out and find your voice as a carer. This questionnaire will give you the space to tell us what kind of support you have accessed during lock-down, what support would have benefited you most during this time, and the support you would like to see in the future. Your answers to the questions below will make a difference to how carers are supported here in Manchester.
All results are anonymous and please can we ask that you do not name others in your responses to these questions.
