Welcome to Manchester Carers Centre’s ‘Get Creative‘ project showcase. This project was launched for Carers Week 2020, in line with the year’s theme of ‘Making Carers Visible‘. As part of our celebrations for Carers Week 2020 we wanted to shine a light on the fantastic creativity of Carers and give them the opportunity to have their work seen by everyone!
We invited Carers to contribute their voices, artwork, poetry, short stories and photos to celebrate making them visible. We gave Carers complete creative autonomy in what they submit to us as we wanted to give them the freedom to express themselves in their own way. All submissions are based on individuals own unique perspectives and opinions.
The ‘Get Creative’ project has been such a success that we have decided to make it a permanent fixture of our website. We want to Keep Carers Visible all year round!
