OUTREACH ACTIVITIES 2022-2023

Our Carers North Partnership Outreach Activities raise awareness of the Carers Manchester Pathway, helping Carers understand what support is available and how they can access it. We met with new Carers and reconnected with Carers already known to the service. We had discussions about Carers’ experiences during the pandemic and the current cost of living crisis, and what they felt they needed most as we develop our services to meet current needs of Carers. We engaged with a range of professionals and worked to build sustainable partnerships providing support to Carers long-term.

Across the year, we held 27 Outreach Activities: 22 roadshows, 4 Tailored Information Session, 1 Carer Awareness Session. All of these activities were held in North Manchester Neighbourhoods, and have us the opportunity to connect with Carers in the local community, as well as network with other professionals and organisations. These events are instrumental to helping us meet new Carers who were potentially isolated and needed to meet and engage with peers in a safe and supportive environment.
