Kirsty McHugh, CEO of Carers Trust met with Shirley Devine – CEO of Manchester Carers Centre this afternoon, to present us with the Trusted Charity Quality Mark award.
Trusted Charity is part of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and is the only UK quality standard designed to help third-sector organisations operate more effectively and efficiently.
We were assessed against the 11 standards of effective practice in Trusted Charity, including in governance, leadership and management, managing staff and volunteers and managing money, and met all standards with no suggested improvements.
We are delighted to receive this award which lasts for 3 years, and recognises our excellent practice and high standards.
