Young Adult Carers Service 2021-2022

We are particularly proud to have delivered our Young Adult Carers Service to 72 unique individuals in the 2021/2022 year, this service provides in -depth, tailored support to Young Adult Carers aged 16 – 25.

We worked with young people through a range of mediums, offering one-to-one mentoring appointments, opportunities to engage socially, learning and development workshops and producing e-bulletins on a monthly basis to keep young people informed of services and opportunities available during the pandemic. We were particularly excited to be awarded funding from Carers Trust to deliver a special air-dry Clay workshop for Carers to mark and celebrate Young Carers Action Day 2022!

Some of the highlights of activities delivered for Young Adult Carers in the 2021/2022 year include: an Afternoon Tea with the Lord Major, bowling, a visit to Central Libraries Hip-Hop exhibition and an outdoor Theatre trip!
