YOUNG ADULT CARERS SPOTLIGHT
Using feedback from Young Adult Carers, we have developed a ‘Young Adult Carers Spotlight’ page to highlight some of the amazing achievements those accessing our service have accomplished outside of their caring roles. We are proud of everything our Young Adult Carers achieve, and we are excited to share below some articles that spotlight some of our Carers success stories, with the hope to inspire and empower others to succeed in their goals!
If you are a Young Adult Carer (16-25), and would like to share your success story with us and be featured in an article of your own, don’t hesitate to get in touch! You can call 0161 27 27 27 0, email admin@manchestercarers.org.uk or follow our social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
Each article has been promoted in our seasonal Young Adult Carers E-Bulletin. This Bulletin aims to link the Young Adult Carers community together, with information and advice that will provide support to them in their caring role and help them to connect with other Young Adult Carers.
We aim to to raise awareness with professionals who work with young people with caring responsibilities, to encourage them to make referrals to our service, so we can provide more Young Adult Carers with the emotional and practical support they need to maintain their mental and physical health. You can sign up to the mailing list here!
