Manchester Carers Centre

Caring 4 Me

This service brings Carers together to combat social isolation and offers a range of free short breaks and group activities.

  • We partner with external organisations to host workshops that provide learning opportunities, creative outlets and a chance to try something new. In the past we have hosted carers study clubs, visual art classes as well as dance and exercise sessions.
  • We organise short breaks so Carers have some respite and a chance to experience all that is on offer culturally in Manchester. In the past, we have arranged visits to museums, theatres and art galleries.

The short breaks and workshops we have hosted have improved attendees’ health and wellbeing and have helped unpaid carers in Manchester feel better connected to one another.
